A note from Sarita:

My clients often identify as high achievers, people pleasers, or perfectionists. To the world they may appear to have it all together, but internally, they feel burnt out, stressed, anxious, and dysregulated. They care deeply about others, but find it difficult to access compassion for themselves. They may have an idea of what they want their lives to look like, but deep down, they don’t feel worthy of it.

I too have stood in these shoes, and I consider it a privilege to join my clients on their own journey to growth, transformation, and self-acceptance. As a therapist, my goal is to bring perspective, curiosity, and a sense of humor to every session. Together, we create a container in which we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment, and work to make positive changes that will best serve your goals.

My approach to therapy is holistic and person-centered, meaning that I draw from various modalities to employ a therapeutic approach that resonates with you in mind, body, and spirit. In our work together, I may incorporate influences of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and Internal Family Systems therapies. As a biracial and South Asian woman, I recognize the importance of uplifting and incorporating the identities of my clients in our work together. I understand the challenges that can surface when balancing multiple cultures and values, and offer a safe space to address these experiences. Additionally, I provide care that is anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and affirming to all racial and ethnic identities.

In my free time, you can find me practicing yoga, trying new coffee shops, or enjoying live music. I’m looking forward to our work together!
