The “Us” After Baby
Join us at February’s Community Support Series!
The transition to parenthood, whether you are considering, planning, or already in the midst of it, is one of the biggest shifts a couple will ever face. What once felt natural or easy in your relationship may now feel unfamiliar. Old communication patterns and connection styles can struggle to keep up with the demands of new family life, making it challenging to know how to support each other and prioritize your partnership.
Join Alysha Ackley, LCSW, a certified Bringing Baby Home Educator with The Gottman Institute, alongside our Therapist in Training, Maddy Walters, for a focused presentation. Drawing on the themes of the Bringing Baby Home curriculum, we will share meaningful information and guide you through an evidence-based tool designed to strengthen your relationship during this major life change.
Throughout this experience, couples will learn to:
Build effective communication skills to support your relationship through constant change.
Navigate inevitable conflict with compassion, learning ways to de-escalate tension and reconnect.
Deepen your awareness of yourself, your partner, and the complex evolution of your relationship.
